when a person becomes a memory...
I just wanted to take a moment to think about Chevonne. I didn't know her very well, and it makes me sad to know that now I'll never get to know her. I mean, I liked C.J. She was always so cheerful and friendly. Its weird to think that when I go back to class, she won't be there, sitting across from me.
I wonder if she knew how many people would cry when they found out she was gone? Does she know how many people loved her?
I read once that when a person becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. But I think that...that life is short. And I think...we should make sure to treasure people while they're still with us.
How many people will cry when you are gone? And how many people in your life would you cry for? Do those people know you care? Make sure they do.
but these wings cannot fly...
Your wings are BROKEN and tattered. You are an angelic spirit who has fallen from grace for one reason or another - possibly, you made one tragic mistake that cost you everything. Or maybe you were blamed for a crime you didn't commit. In any case, you are faithless and joyless. You find no happiness, love, or acceptance in your love or in yourself. Most days are a burden and you wonder when the hurting will end. Sweet, beautiful and sorrowful, you paint a tragic and touching picture. You are the one that few understand. Those that do know you are likely to love you deeply and wish that they could do something to ease your pain. You are constantly living in memories of better times and a better world. You are hard on yourself and self-critical or self-loathing. Feeling rejected and unloved, you are sensitive, caring, deep, and despite your tainted nature, your soul is breathtakingly beautiful.

"Childhood slips away like the grains of sand in an hourglass. But, for some reason, all children ever do is shake that hourglass, trying to make it pass faster. Trying to grow up as quickly as they can. Too quickly, perhaps."
Quote of the day
"People never want to see what's wrong with themselves. They never want to admit their own crimes. So when they notice that same offense playing out in others, they jump upon it's back and ride it with fury and harsh recrimination. They want to free themselves of their own
wrong doings through the punishment of others. They are hypocrites; not because they have committed such a trespass but rather because they refuse to turn their accusations upon themselves and see that all have sinned. It is much easier to place the blame on someone, anyone else."
F***ed up week

"Someone died of a brain aneurism today while taking the SAT's. The last thing anyone saw him do was stand up, pull all his hair out and yell, 'ABACADABA!! ABACADABA!!!!'"

Okay, okay, so it wasn't really THAT bad, but it could have gotten ugly. I took the SATII tests today --Math IC, writing, and lit...my brain is FRIED. Maybe broiled...
mmmm...broiled brains...what an appetizing thought.
And it comes to pass
And it comes to be that the comforting light at the end of the tunnel is just a freight train coming your way.
whatever
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
